  2015年12月英语四级作文话题练习:网上交流

  On Online Chatting

  1.网上聊天越来越流行;

  2.有人反对它,有人赞同;

  3.我的看法。

  参考范文

  With the development of IT, online chatting isbecoming increasingly popular with many people.

  However, people’s opinions about it vary fromperson to person. Some think that it has more problems than benefits. First, it is a waste oftime, energy and money as it doesn’t produce any useful information and products. Second, itis misleading to its users because cyberspace is actually an imaginary space where things areunreal or fictional.

  But the advocates of online chatting support it because it is another way of recreation whichis both exciting and relaxing. Besides, it helps them release their emotions and worries freelyand safely. To them, it is very useful and wonderful.

  As far as I am concerned, whether online chatting is good or bad depends on the personwho does it.

  control we can use it cientifically and properlyandcurbjits bad effect to the greatestextent.

  2015年12月英语四级作文话题练习:假期综合症

  Post-holiday Syndrome Among Students

  1.很多学生在开学伊始都会出现假期综合症

  2. 出现这一现象的原因

  3. 我的建议

  参考范文:

  With the gloomy prospect of returning toschool, many students could suffer from post-holiday syndrome, which refers to a general feeling of depression before returning to campuslife, which is caused by irregular lifestyles during the holiday. Symptoms include fatigue, lackof appetite and concentration, irritability and a feeling of helplessness.

  Various reasons can account for it. But most important of all, a large number of studentstend to overindulge themselves in eating, merrymaking and playing around during the holidays,which makes it difficult to adjust to their routine study schedule and life pace on the campus.

  My suggestions to deal with this syndrome are as follows. First, exercising and sticking toa normal schedule over the holidays will make a difference and nip post-holiday syndrome inthe bud. Besides, it pays to return a few days earlier before the semester starts. The earlyreturn seems to have kept the holiday blues at bay.
