We use computers to cope with files and photos etc. And the internet is just a large database and we can get on the internet to search for anything we need through the computers. We can keep in touch with the others with the emails, msn and QQ etc. Enjoying ourselves in music, games and movies can loosen us after nervous classes.
Each coin has two sides. Disadvantages of the computers can also do harm to us. Most of us students use the computers more to play games and chat with strangers than searching for useful information. Thats a waste of time. There is so much rubbish on the net, which are some medium messages about crime or sex. It does harm to our minds.
From all above, we should learn to use computers in our own right ways. The computers doesnt have no responsibility, it depends on the way we use them.

however,in all these technologies and produces computers have been the most important influences on people. some people assert that computers have made life more comple and stressful, while some people believe that computers have made life easier and more convenient. from my point of view, the advantages of computers are the leading sides and computers become a necessary part in peoples lives.
perhaps computers may quicken our pace of life and make our life more comple and stressful. with the development of computers almost every jobs need people who are well up in computer technology. people, who want to find a good job, must learn how to use computers. on one hand,the computer technology is a very comple subject. if you want to use computers very well, you must take a lot of time to study and practice it.
on the other hand, computers develop so fast that people must study new technology constantly. those all make people feel stressful. even though there may be one or two disadvantages to develop computers, the advantages fast outweigh them. the major point for my penchant for computers is that computers can help people do many things, including comple computation, storing and searching information and some work that is dangerous for people to do. for instance launching a rocket up to outer pace needs so comple computation that people can not do it without computers; searching the newest information is of vital importance for business, so people will not be success in business without computers.
computers have facilitated many of our working processes and we have already grown dependent on them. another advantage of computers is that people can use them for entertainment in spare time. from pc games to online chatting, computers have the ability to entertain us in a wide verity of ways. after a busy day, playing pc games is the favorite thing of most of my classmates.
and in todays life, a lot of young people could have not televisions, but they must have a set of computer. now many films display fascinating images by using computers to deal with them. in a word in spite of the fact the computer appears to have made life more comple and stressful, i fell that the advantages are more obvious. computers have become an integral part of everyday life. they can help us do much work and make us funny.

They can read newspaper without buying it, only sitting in front of their computer, clicking mouse to open website. Shopping online, watching movies, listening music and play computer games are the common things that people often do by computer. But without computer, they can’t do all these easily. In addition, computer is also very helpful for study and work. People can have classes and work on it.

When the first computer came into being in 1946, it was proclaimed the beginning of a new era in human history. The marvelous invention coupled with Internet plays a vital role in today‘s society.
Nowadays, businessmen depend substantially on computers. In the database of the banks, the information of thousands of millions of accounts is stored accurately. The B2B system of the Ford Car Company controlled completely by computers,makes it possible for the whole company to coordinate efficiently, thus it keeps the costs to the lowest level. Stock transactions involving large sums of money can be completed safely through internet. We can hardly imagine a business operating without computers.
When it comes to our daily life, computers also demonstrate their advantages. "distance learning" is becoming increasingly popular, by which teachers and students interact online while sitting before the PC at home. And there‘s even possibility that it will take the place of the old way of teaching someday in the future.
Besides, we can have easy access to the flowing information when necessary by clicking the mouse only. In the past, bowerer, we have to search for hours in libraries. PC games provide extra fun for our relaxation. Emails facilitate communication between friends separated by long distance.
While everyone says the 21st century is an information age,we should also take notice of its negative side. Not all the changes brought to us are positive.
I can still clearly remember the problem before the millenium that caused global panic. It gave out the warning that people had relied too much on computers. Once the system is ruined, it may give rise to collapse of the whole society. Moreover, hackers attempt to destroy certain systems or make profits by stealing critical data; virus of different kinds are continually produced and spread on the net. All these threaten our society. As to individuals, spending much time on computer keeps one from communication with other people. Students addicted to PC games are distracted from learning.
In sum, it‘s no easy thing to define exactly whether the advent of computer is a blessing or a curse. As far as I‘m concerned, despite the negative effects it brings about, the computer has improved our life and benefited us on the whole. It‘s a great invention of the 20th century.
