In the painful transition from the central planning economy to the market economy, millions of workers have been laid off in China. As the reform process speeds up, more people will be laid off, fueling the competition in the jab markets.
The newly unemployed have diffhrent attitudes towards new jabs. Complaining of the social problems and enjoying their free time, some of them just wait passively for help. Moreover, they are rather fussy about government assigned jobs. Their typical job requirements include good pay, decent social position, and nice working environment. To their disappointment, no such jobs are available yet and they let good opportunities slip by. In contrast, most of the unemployed are practical, facing the challenge with courage and seizing any opportunity with confidence. Instead of complaining and relying on others, they are actively hunting all sorts of jobs by themselves. They attend job training schools to acquire new professional skills while holding odd jobs. Since China is heavily investing in the construction of her infrastructures which provides many jobs, millions of the unemployed have found better jobs. Their success depends more on their positive attitudes than anything else.
As the market economy rapidly improves in China, free competition will increasingly replace all sorts of monopolies. People will enjoy more freedom in finding good jobs. Any job,just as all kinds of product, has its strengths and weaknesses. They have to change their prejudice against "indecent" jobs. It is not what jobs they do but how good they are that really counts. Nobody likes to be laid off, but it can open the door to finding a better job.

One’s achievement isn’t for money and fame,but for being well.
Franklin.D.Roosevelt once said:“Success is doing what you want to do.”I believe it firmly. Personal satisfaction that you got from the process for the dream, is the best reward for your achievement, which gives you spiritual legacy. As a matter of fact, spiritual legacy is more valuable than wealth and fame in my thought, because the latter can only make you happy for a short while.Those men, aimed at fame and wealth, couldn’t insist on working hard for their dreams all the time and easily meet their waterloo. Besides, they sometimes are called“dogs in the manger.”
It is obvious that if you just long for money and power, your dreams aren’t real dreams. Also, as for me, it is in order to make my life meaningful that I study hard everyday. I sometimes thought of Madam Gurie, a great scientist who twice won The Nobel Prize, concentrated her thought and energy on her research and experiments all her life. But what impressed me most aren’t her achievements she got then, but her attitudes towards wealth and fame. How it surprised me that she gave her medals to her daughter as toys and contributed her bonus to research. Did she love wealth and fame better rather than personal satisfactionThe answer is obvious.
When I was young ,my father often went fishing with me on weekends. After having sought out a good place and having made everything prepared, we could lie on the grass for a whole day. Not expecting for any fishes, we relaxed ourselves and enjoyed the sightseeing around us. The happiness and fulfillment we got were more valuable to me rather than the cheap fishes.
To care for wisdom and truth and improvement of the soul is far better than to seek money and honor and reputation. Although I still have a lot of difficulties achieving my goals, the happiness and fulfillment I have received will motivate me to go on with them.
In a word, I am a man who agrees that the personal satisfaction is the best reward for one’s achievement. I am a slow walker, but I’ll never walk backwards.

Finance, Inc. was listed on Cleveland University career webpage for summer internships. I believe that Finance, Inc summer internship is an ideal opportunity for students.
As a junior at Cleveland University, I am learning about the technical side of accounting through a rigorous accounting course load. In addition, I am learning to be a team player and to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. For example, in my marketing class, I did a group presentation on Starbucks. We had one week to evaluate Starbucks financial position, future opportunities, and recommend a strategy for Starbucks to compete well against Caribou Coffee. Working with group members that have conflicting opinions was quite challenging, exciting, and ultimately rewarding for me. Likewise, projects that I have completed at Creative Solutions Inc., and the Cleveland Municipal Water District further enhanced my accounting skills as well as offered insights into different aspects of the business world. My responsibilities included bookkeeping for thousands of dollars. At Finance, Inc., I would also like to make a contribution by using my outstanding analytical skills and be challenged to work to my potential by working with diverse clientele. In addition, I look forward to understanding more about Finance, Inc role in business.
I respect Finance, Inc's excellence in quality and support and believe that I can meet these standards as a summer intern. I want to be challenged and learn firsthand about business. I am looking forward to further discussing the challenges and rewards of working for Finance, Inc.

The founding patriarch of Macondo, José Arcadio Buendía, and úrsula, his wife （and first cousin）， leave Riohacha, Colombia, to find a better life and a new home. One night of their emigration journey, whilst camping on a riverbank, José Arcadio Buendía dreams of “Macondo”， a city of mirrors that reflected the world in and about it. Upon awakening, he decides to found Macondo at the river side; after days of wandering the jungle, José Arcadio Buendía’s founding of Macondo is utopic.()
Founding patriarch José Arcadio Buendía believes Macondo to be surrounded by water, and from that island, he invents the world according to his perceptions.Soon after its foundation, Macondo becomes a town frequented by unusual and extraordinary events that involve the generations of the Buendía family, who are unable or unwilling to escape their periodic （mostly） self-inflicted misfortunes. As we oil know, there are more and more laid-off workers in China now mainly because of the rapid changes in the economic reform. Among them are the old and the young, men and women, and even some well-educated graduates. What‘s more, with more and more workers being laid-off, lots of social problems have appeared.
As a result, the issue of re-employment of the laid-off workers has become one of the hot topics and drawn much attention from governments at all levels. A number of solutions are being offered. First of all, re-training programs should be organized to help the laid-off workers to learn new skills to help them keep up with the changing society. Besides, our government should take some necessary measures to createmore new opportunities of employment for these peopie. Finally, colleges and universities should reform their courses to adapt to the development of economy so as to provide qualified studens to meet the needs of society.
In my opinion, solving the problem of re-employment of laid-off workers needs the effort of the whole society, including our government, the laid-off workers themselves and all those who are ready to offer their help, Moreover, the lay-off workers, especially the well-educated graduates, should lower their standards before looking for satisfying jobs.
