for going on with my further studies， i took the entrance examination in a senior middle school last week。 i still remember there were more than three hundred candidates taking part in this examination。 for the first day， in the morning， chinese was easy。 we were required to write a composition of 250 words on "my home life"， and give definitions and illustrations to twenty phrases。 in the afterno on， we took an english examination。 there were dictation， sentence formation， and analysis for oral english。 in the oral examination， i was questioned about my home life， my experience in the junior middle school and my future prospects。
on the second day， we were examined on history and geography in the morning and physics and chemistry in the afternoon。

I can't remember exactly what year it was. Anyway, when I was very young, I knew a beautiful holiday -- christmas. This holiday morning always cold cold, but the heart is warm.
Dad always said those beautiful gifts were Santa Claus's blessing. So, I'm looking forward to Christmas, better than all the holidays. I was always pestering my father about the story of Santa claus. Once in a dream, I became a naughty fawn, Rudolf, pulling a sled......
As I grew older, I questioned Santa claus. On Christmas Eve, I asked my father, "Daddy, is there really Santa Claus in the world?"" Dad replied: "as long as you neither fast nor slow as usual sleep sweetly, cooked, Santa Claus will give you a blessing!" On Christmas night, I made a careful plan to see Santa Claus's real face in Mount Lu! In the evening, I hung up a red sock like I did in the past and went to sleep, but I didn't really sleep. It was late at night, and there was a gentle noise coming out of the window. There's Santa claus! I'm thrilled! I couldn't help looking into the window. I was amazed by the sight: how could it be my mother and father? They put flashlights in their hands and stuff things into my red socks. By the light of the flashlight, I looked at my father and mother's earnest action and kind face, and I felt a sweet and sour feeling. That night, I dreamed that I had become a deer, Rudolf, running around the world with sleds, but on the sled was my father and mother......
To this day, none of us has ever disclosed the secret of Christmas gifts, although it is understood, but I believe that the eternal Christmas will be buried in this beautiful secret.

Dear Effective , I will assume the position of director of human resources for XXX, Inc., in Baton Rouge. Therefore, please accept my resignation as benefits and compensation coordinator of the Human Resources Department within AAA Associates, effective September 30. However, the chinese spring festival has no religious background while christmas has something to do with god and there is santa claus with white heard to bring children presents. The westerners send each other christmas cards for greetings while the chinese people pay a call on each other.
nowadays, some of the chinese youth has begun to celebrate christmas, following the example of the westerners. Perhaps they do so just for fun and out of curiosity.
