Firstly,this is China ,our motherland ,first handle the olympic game,is a stately competition,as we are all chinese ,we have the duty to contribute to our country ,but I think we can't do those difficult things ,so we can to be volunteers .
Secondly,I think we haven't much things in this holiday,we can to find some things ,like the volunteer,and if we are volunteers ,our life will be more colorful.
And thirdly ,if we to be the volunteer,we can touch more foreigns and the famous athletes .the former can improve our English level ,and it is fortunately we can see the later,we can know more about graceful bearing of them.

Guess what is my volunteer work? That is the whole cleaning his living building stairs aisle.

猜猜我的志愿者工作是什么?那就是打扫自己居住的整栋楼的楼梯走道。
志愿者工作，开始!我拿着扫把一鼓作气的一下子爬上了这栋楼的顶层。这栋楼一共有六楼，有一百零五个台阶，当我爬上楼顶后，已经累的气喘吁吁，平时我爬四楼就喘气，这六楼就已经要了我的命!
扫地了，我使用了一招龙飞凤舞，尘土在空中飞扬，“咳咳!天哪!呛死人啦!”早知道就不用那么大的力气了，真是累死了，扫了半天都扫不好，唉!干脆不扫了吧!一向娇惯的我又放弃了。突然，我脑袋里闪过一个念头：不能放弃，人家环卫工人扫整条街都没叹气，何况我只扫了一个楼梯走道呢?好，继续干!
吸取了刚才的教训，看来得讲究方法才行。我忽然想到街上的环卫工人在扫地时都轻轻的，没有用太大力气。于是我也轻轻的扫了起来，这个方法果然很有效，半个小时我就把地扫好了。站在一楼，望着我扫后的楼梯走道，心里格外的'高兴。
通过今天的志愿者活动，我体会到了环卫工人的辛苦，以后我要多做这样的志愿者活动，把家园变得更美丽。

As an English student I have participated in some social practice activities in school such as visiting orphanages and schools for left-behind children. Recently I went to a nursing home as a volunteer which was a very meaningful experience.
As a volunteer my main job was to communicate accompany and take care of the elderly's daily life. I found that the elderly in the nursing home need a lot of care and companionship because their physical and mental conditions are mostly weak. I chatted with them listened to their stories sang and danced with them which made them feel happy and relaxed.
In the nursing home I saw many touching stories. There was an old lady who was almost ninety years old but she was very optimistic and open-minded. Her experiences inspired and moved me deeply there was also an old man who was a retired doctor. He told me about his medical career and his insights into medical science which benefited me a lot.
Through this volunteer activity I deeply realized the importance and respect for the elderly and also became more grateful and cherished my own life and time. At the same time I also discovered the problems and shortcomings in society such as the conditions and services in nursing homes need more attention and support.
As an English student I also had the opportunity to apply my language and communication skills in practice and become a bridge for communication with the elderly. This made me more confident and valuable and also strengthened my sense of social responsibility and public welfare awareness.

忙碌之余，老师也叫我们看书，以增广见闻。在搬那沉重的书时，其实，想想看，这不但帮老师省麻烦，也增强自己的体力，一举二得，有何不可呢?
身为小志愿者的我，虽然累了一点儿，但替老师分担了许多事物;我也很快乐，因为“助人为快乐之本”呀!
