He waits and waits.The lady on the phone is just talking andlaughing.She seems as if she doesn't notice Frank. After about half an hour,the lady puts down the receiver.Frank feels a bit released. She is finished finally,he thinks. 第二天英语课上，老师开始报成绩，我的心怦怦直跳，仿佛已经到了嗓子眼。当报到我的时候，我的心一下子从嗓子眼跌落谷底，天哪！我只考了83分。我该怎样回去更爸爸交代呢？我心里想。我看了看试卷，哎！有些题根本不该错呀！为什么当时不好好检查呢？我真后悔，可是世界上没有后悔药卖呀！只有面对现实。
放了晚学，我怀着一颗沉中的心情回到了家。当我打开家门，发现爸爸妈妈都不在家时。我的心情稍微好转了一些。爸爸回来以后，我忐忑不安地把这件事情告诉了他，爸爸听了，拿起试卷仔细地看了起来，我小心翼翼地站在一旁心想爸爸不知会吧我怎样。爸爸开口了，他耐着性子教育我说：有些题目你根本不该错，完全可以考到90分以上，为什么不仔细检查呢！有些错误明显是可以检查出来的.，为什么不好好检查？看把y抄成了r，这个一检查就能检查出来的......

四六级中的仔细阅读文章比较短小，而且难度不高，总结起来题型不外是一些常见的词汇题、主旨题、细节题。针对不同的题型，首先是要分析题型，要知道什么题型是什么样子的，针对这样的题型又该用什么样的解题方法。
首先针对细节题，它没有特别明显的特征，所以考生在做这类题时首先就要进行大范围的定位，根据四六级阅读题的顺序规律，可以根据题号定位大概的自然段。然后在这段内容里再进行小定位，优先定位题干中的关键词，如果题干关键词没有或者不适合作为定位，可以寻找选项关键词，这里注意要优先挑数字、大写等等好辨认的词进行定位。如果实在定位不出来题干的信息，那就在原文一句一句比对并排除选项。
其次是词汇题，词汇题是很容易辨认的，通常词汇题的出题方式有两种，要么是熟词僻意，要么是生词猜意。熟词僻意主要考查的就是考生平时的基本功了，平时一定要多积累多背单词。生词猜义类的'题型考生可以根据以下几种方式来搞定，第一，根据文章对应的上下文例子来判断意思，通常一些难词之后都会紧跟一个具体的例子来解释说明，看懂这个例子，那这个词就不难理解了。第二，根据紧随其后的修饰或者限定的从句来判断句子的含义。第三，当题目中考查的词汇是形容词时可以注意等位修饰，两个意思相近的词会放在一起出现，认识一个就能大致猜出另外一个的含义。
