　　Summer holiday is from July to August .It ' s a long time for me to do all kinds of things .

　　I like visiting some places of interest . And I like travelling by train .

　　It takes me too much time , but it saves money .Sometimes I stay at home and do my homework , sometimes I help my parents do some house work.

　　When my parents are free , we often go to the park or the zoo , and we have a good time there . I have a good summer holiday .

　　This year's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

　　I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.

　　今年的暑假是最有趣的。我花了十五天帮助我的祖父母做农场的`工作在农村,在那里我看到了山领域覆盖着绿色植物。我有时去游泳在河里西部的村庄,水很清楚。

I went to the beach and I swam in the sea.I called my friend and played with them.I visited my grandparents and ate much delicious food. Then I went to the zoo whit my sister.I was very happy.Because I saw a lot of animals.They were very lovely.So I took photos of all animals.I liked the butterflies best.They were colourful and beautiful.My sister liked it too. 　　summer can be very hot in southern wan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"c or more. because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. also because of this i stay at home most of the time during the summer vacation and only occasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. actually i like swimming and think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. in the summer vacation that has just ended i went swimming many times with my classmates and we all had a good time. this summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. as a second-year senior student i had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were only a year away. in other words, i must find time to study, too. so i divided my time between work and play during the summer vacation and derived much benefit from this arrangement.

　　The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it.

　　First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them.

　　Then I thought I should take up some forms of exercise, such as walking, running and rowing, to keep me physically strong. It stood to reason that with such a good plan I should make the best of my vacation time. I did, because I lived up to what I had planned.
