　　Recently, three owls appeared suddenly on our campus. They made me think of my pet from childhood. When I was little, we had an owl at home. It was small, gray, and had two big eyes. We liked it very much. Every time I went home, it greeted me by making “goo-goo” sounds. We always played with it and talked to it. It would blink its eyes just like it understood what we were saying. It was like my best friend. But when the weather became colder, we forgot to keep it warm , and it died. 　　On the other hand, there are many people who say that pets should be banned. They point out that pets are responsible for disease which hurt property, and for injuries suffered both by the people who kept them and by innocent other people. They also say that pets are a waste of money and resources.

　　My own point of view is that we should had the hobby of keeping pets. While at the same time making them harmless. In addition, we should restrict the keeping the pets to some area.

　　Secondly， plants consume less money than pets。 You have to spend a considerable amount of money buying pet food， toys and other accessories。 Some people even compare that sum of money to the expenses of raising a child。 When pets fall ill， they need to be sent to the special hospital for pets， which are also quite expensive。 In this sense， plants are very economical to grow in terms of the same purpose of producing joy and beauty to people’s daily life。
