也许长这么大，对我帮助最大的就是英语村了(English village)了。
英语村是我六年级毕业以后学校组织的一次英语活动。聘请外教来上课，吃住都在学校中，听说还可以在晚上搞搞活动，看看影片，其乐无穷。
于是，我动心了，便成为了英语村中的一名学子。好兴奋!虽说我的自理能力挺差的，不过，我更渴望一些自由，更渴望无拘无束地玩耍。我渴望与外教谈天说地，我渴望学到那纯正的英语……虽说我的英语水平说不上怎么好，但是，毕竟比别人多学了几年的剑桥英语，要是想表达一个意思，想法，那是绝对没问题的。想到自己在英语村中一定会很出色，不由地沾沾自喜。但现在想想，父母的忠告的确是对的：“你不要感觉太好了，离开了父母你会碰到很多困难的。”而我却说了一句：“我不是自我感觉良好，而是自我感觉优秀!”
回想一下，的确希望是越大，失望也就越大。在整个英语村中，我还是吃了很多苦的，当时当然也很后悔，但毕竟也锻炼了我的能力，让我学会了很多的知识，学会了生活。对自己而言，我是很成功的!

Lily has changed a lot after she joined a English club. She used to be nervous when she spoke English, but now she can speaks English fluently. She is not nervous any more and more and more active. She used to lack of self-confidence, as she always think she cannot do anything well. But now she is more and more confident. She takes the job of English subject representative by herself. She used to like staying alone after class. Now she like making friends with the students. Her change is so big.

她叫陈晓黎，中等个，戴一副近视眼镜。总是盘着头发。长的非常漂亮，也非常可爱。我们班调皮的男生让老师哭笑不得。陈老师生气时我们全班鸦雀无声，这并不是因为老师生气的样子恐怖而是因为我们知道自己错了。起初我很讨厌陈老师，但上个月的一件事让我深深喜欢上了陈老师。12月16号是陈老师的生日，为此我们班一人出了几块钱来给老师半个生日party，那天我们站在教学楼下面全班女生站成了一个心。当时老师很激动，眼泪情不自禁的流了下来。当时我觉得自己不应该那么讨厌陈老师。从那天起老师也改变了。变得温柔可爱。既是我们尊敬的英语老师也是我们的知心朋友，从此我改变了自己的想法。那天我就下了决心；以后努力学习。起好学习委员的作用。并认真复习考出个优异的成绩来报答陈老师。陈老师几次都是忍着病来给我们上课。当我看到那从老师额头上流下来的汗水时眼泪就会掉下来。当时多么希望自己是一位神医那样就可以快速治好陈老师的病，让她跟我们一样快乐的玩耍。

由于我这次桤木期末复习6课英语，后来又改成了每天三课，因为第一次复习完默写就错了二十几个地方，由于错误太多。所以爸爸才决定把进度放慢了，改长了没天复习三课，改了方案后，就比以前好多了。默写时没有那么多错误了。可爸爸要求是每天默写的3课只能有两。三个错误，包括标点符号，才能算过关。他每次默写前，都叫我认真看英语书。把不会的单词句形看清楚，看会看懂，.完成每天的任务后，才能看电视或找小朋友玩。今天是默写英语的第三天，我已默完7.8.9三课。英语共有十二课。还差三课就全部默写完了。可是爸爸要求默写完了还要把以前复习的客人再巩固学习。直到把书想的东西都弄明白。复习英语才算结束。
在复习英语的这段期间，我一边学习英语，一边悟出了一个道理：做一件事要专心致志，持之以恒，就一定能做好一件事。
