Unit2 Mascots教案-part6 A story : The golden necklace
云淡风清放逐心境，品味悠然！ 教学目标：知识目标： The pupils learn to understand（学生学会理解）:
Don’t forget (the potatoes).

能力目标：The pupils can understand and act out the story（学生能理解并表演故事）.
情感目标：吉祥物并非都可以给人带来好运气，成功是要通过个人努力得来的。设计流程：
教学重难点：Don’t forget (the potatoes).

I want to sell (this necklace).
教具准备：Joe \ old man \ Boss \ necklace贴图图片（板书），故事中5个人物的头饰( headdress) , 道具：necklace ， a big bag of potatoes, money ，录音机及磁带
教学过程：
Step1: Warming-up
T and the pupils make greetings. Step2: Preview detection (独学)
（1）How many people in the story？ _________________________________________________. (2) Who are they? ________________________________________________. (3) What`s the meaning of “ Puma Ranch”? ________________________________________________. (4) Which mascot is talking about in the story? _________________________________________________. Step3:Review(复习)：
Use the CAI review the mascots: ring, shell, friendship band, soft toys, silver bells, necklace.( 点题：Mascots)
Step4:Presentation（新授）：
1. Question ： What colour is the necklace? (点题)
What happened about the golden necklace?
2. Listen to the story，do the exercise.
True or false:
(1) Joe pick up(捡到) a necklace. ( )
(2) Joe is going to buy apples. ( )
(3) The necklace can sell 100 silver dollars. ( )
(4) Joe is very stupid. ( )
3. Words\ sentences games（单词\句子闯关：在小组对子之间读一读这些词句，每个词或句读2遍） （学法指导：了解意思，大声、清晰的读出，注意语音标准）

4. 小组交流展示并评价。（3组然后全班）
5. 重难点突破并练习。
（1） Read the story in groups, try to draw a line on the words or sentences that you can`t understand (小组内试读故事，用铅笔划出你所难得理解的词句)
（2） 通过所学读音规则试着拼读：
potato --- tomato （CAI）
shell---sell
（3）情景练习：I want to sell the __________. How much is it ?
Don`t forget …
（4）小组练习对话，两组展示。
（5） CAI 辅助理解句子： Watch out!

Step5:. Practice and show out.
