Listening and Speaking 教学班级:高三(3)/(4)班 课题名称:  First Impression 英语听说课 授课时间:  40 分钟   Important Teaching Points: 1. Help the Ss comprehend the whole passage First Impression by listening. 2. Get the Ss to master the skills of English listening and speaking. Teaching Objectives: 1.  Improve the Ss’ abilities to catch the key words or phrases better during listening. 2.  Improve the Ss’ abilities to listen, to speak, to read and to write in   the review of Grade 3. 3. Get the Ss to learn the connection of listening, speaking, reading and writing in English. Teaching Aids: computer, a projector and some slides. Teaching Methods: Task-based approach, Elicitation teaching and Communicative approach Teaching Procedures & Learning Activities: Step1 Greeting Step2 Leading-in Step3 Listening and Comprehending a.   Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with proper words mentioned in the radio  b.  Questions to answer(lead Ss to write down the key words they  heard and then answer the Qs.) c.  Questions to ask and answer ( get Ss to translate the sentences  into English and then answer the Qs by listening) d.  Find out the writing style of the passage (narration), read after the tape and summarize the aspects of narration in the passage. Step 4 Retelling a.  Group Work (Divide the whole class into several groups, ask them  to make a discussion and then try to retell the text according to the aspects of narration summarized in the last step. b. A possible vision about retelling where Ss should fill with proper words. Step 5 Homework a. What’s the writer’s attitude towards the future, optimistic or  pessimistic? b. 以约120词就“人应该保持乐观的生活态度”的主题发表看法,内容包括:    a. 保持乐观心态的方法    b. 你是如何乐观地面对生活
