四年级英语上册Unit 4 My home第一课时 教学内容:A. Let’s learn Let’s do 教学目标 (1)知识目标 A. 能够听、说、认读五个有关房间的单词study, kitchen, bedroom, bath- room, living room。 (2)能力目标 A. 能够用This is my home. You can see a living room…句型简单介绍房子。 B.能够听懂“Let’s do”的指令,并做出相应的动作。 (3)情感目标 A.培养学生的创新精神和实践能力,提高学生的口语表达能力和交际能力。 B.培养学生对家的热爱、鼓励学生大胆设想自己未来的家居。 教学重、难点 (1)教学重点是有关房间的五个单词的认读,并能运用句型This is my home. You can see…来介绍自己的家。 (2)难点是单词bathroom, living room, bedroom的发音。“Let’s do”中“Have a snack”, “Take a shower”两个词组的发音及理解。 教具准备 1. 教材相配套的教学课件[Unit 4 Let’s learn/A]。 2. 教材相配套的教学录音带,教师自制的单词卡。 3. Tom和Jerry的头饰。 4. 教师使用的study, bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen图片。 5. 教师使用的课文挂图P46页Let’s learn部分。 6. 学生课前画好自己喜欢的房子。 教学过程 Step1 Warming up (1) Watch the cartoon “Tom and Jerry” Step2 Presentation (1) Learn “study” T: Look, where are they? (They are in the study.) a. Teach “study” Read and spell. b. T: What can you see in the study? (I can see a lamp, a window, a desk, a chair and many books.) T: What can you do in the study? (We can read a book in the study.) c. Chant: Study, study, go to the study. Read a book. (2) Learn “bathroom” Look, they are running. Tom wants to catch Jerry. So they run, run, run. Guess, where is the mouse now? a. Teach “bathroom”. Read and spell. b. T: What can you do in the bathroom. (We can take a shower.) c. Chant: Bathroom, bathroom, go to the bathroom, take a shower. (3) Learn “bedroom” But the cat can’t catch the mouse in the bathroom. So they run, run, run, run to another room. Where is the mouse now? a. Teach “bedroom”. Read and spell. b. PPT presents four different bedrooms, students choose one and say something about it. T: What can you do in the bedroom? (We can have a sleep.) c. Chant: Bedroom, bedroom, go to the bedroom, have a sleep. (4) Learn “living room” This time, guess, can the cat catch the mouse in the bedroom? No! So they run, run, run. Guess, where is the mouse now? a. Teach “living room”. Read and spell. b. T: What can you do in the living room. (We can sing, dance, watch TV, etc.) c. Chant: Living room, living room, go to the living room, watch TV. (5) Learn “kitchen” T: Tom wants to catch Jerry. So they run, run, run. Where is the mouse now? It’s in the ——kitchen a. Teach “kitchen”. Read and spell. b. T: What’s in the kitchen? Look! T: What can you do in the kitchen? (We can have a snack in the kitchen.) c. Chant: Kitchen, kitchen, go to the kitchen, have a snack. d. There’re so many foods in the kitchen, Tom and Jerry are so hungry, so they eat a lot. Tom is full, he won’t catch Jerry any more. Step3 Practice (1) Let’s do a. (CAI) Look and listen b. Boys and girls, follow me. Stand up, let’s say and do together! c. GA: Go to the living room. GB: Watch TV. GA: Go to the study. GB: Read a book.... d. T: Go to the....S: Read a book.... S: Go to the....T: Read a book.... e. Group work (2) Game: Look and say the words quickly. Teacher shows some pictures and let the students say it quickly. (3) Introduce the home T: Oh, I’m tired. Let’s have a rest and enjoy some pictures. Show some pictures—a study, a bathroom, a bedroom, a living room, a bedroom.... T: What can you see? (I can see a study/bedroom....) T: Look! This is my home. Welcome to my home. You can see....Let me introduce my home again. Can you introduce your home? (Work in 4.) Step4 Homework (1) Introduce your home to your parents.
