　　First of all, bedtime chat is good for freshmen at college. Students from all over the country are naturally curious about each other. Bedtime chat seems to be a good answer to their curiosity. Through a good bedtime chat, students in the same dorm would soon earn about each other's likes and dislikes, which can result in a better understanding among roommates. Secondly, it is inevitable to chat on study in bed. Bedtime chat helps with academic development in that it makes up for what each has missed in their daytime lessons. Thirdly, bedtime chat helps broaden students' horizon. This is especially true when the roommates are of a diverse set in terms of culture and geography. Different customs reflecting a different culture and different scenery representing their respective geographical conditions are referred to and shared in their chat, which is not only enjoyable but also beneficial.
