how should we read? should we read selectively or etensively? everyone has his own view.
some people think we should read selectively. they argue that with the development of modern science and technology, more and more books are published every day. it is impossible for us to read all the books. what’s more, there are many bad books that are poisonous to our mind, and we shouldn’t read them. since we can’t read all the books, and we shouldn’t read bad books, we must read selectively.
but others many not agree. they emphasize that today’s society is not what it used to be. if you want to be successful, you must read widely and learn knowledge in both natural sciences and humanities. if a man knows much in one field but knows nothing in others, he may be useless. since we must have many kinds of knowledge, we must read etensively.
who’s right? there is a lot to be said for both sides of the argument. however, i think we should read etensively first and then learn deeply about the subject we are interested in.

now more and more people become aware that those disasters have much to do with what we have done to the earth. we have cut down too many trees in the forests,we have badly polluted the environment, we have shocked our own home-planet time and again with tremendously powerful eplosions of nuclear bombs. as a result, climates have become abnormal, rainwater rushes down hillsides angrily, and the underground energy goes up to revenge itself on us.
the earth is our only home-planet. it is urgent for us to stop damaging it, and to do our best to protect it and make it a lovely place suitable to live in, for we have nowhere to go and survive ecept where we are now.

There are reasons accounting formy view. First, to manage a company needs a lot of time and energy, which wouldinfluence students’ study. Therefore, I advocate students spend more time to learn and think sothat they can find their way to live. Second, having a company beforegraduation is not good for students’ psychological health. Those who have acompany before their graduation are most those who are born with a sliver spoonin mouth. If they are allowed to have a company before their graduation, theywill never worry about their job losing and family supporting; never know howto make a living by themselves; and never want to be independent from theirparents or other relationships.
支持我观点的理由如下。第一，管理一个公司需要大量的时间和精力，这会影响学生的学习。学生最重要的.是学习，练习独立思考的能力，而不是赚钱。因此，我提倡学生花更多的时间去学习和思考，以便找到他们自己想要的生活方式。第二，在毕业前开公司对学生的心理健康并不好。那些在毕业前就拥有公司的人大部分都是含着金钥匙出生的。如果他们允许在毕业前开公司，他们将永远不会担心他们的工作问题和养家；永远不会不知道如何谋生；也永远不想从父母或者亲戚中独立。
