Thus, in the long run, the overgrowth of the world population will only harm mankind.

　　但过于快速的人口增长给给人类社会带来了威胁。一大批人需要食物的供给及避难所。但是有限的生产力很难满足日益增长的人口需求。因此，从长远来看，过多的人口增长只会危害人类。
