FOR A BETIER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PARENT AND CHILDNowadays there is often a lack of un derstanding between parent and child. Parents often complain about their children's "unreasonable" behavior, while children usually think their parents too "old-fashioned." Then, when a child has a problem, he usually goes to his intimate friends for sympathy and advice, leaving his parents totally in the dark.
There are some possible reasons for the present situation. First, the two generations, having grown up at different times, have different likes and dislikes for the things around them and thus have little in common to talk about.
