　　my taste

　　since i was a child, i always dream about playing table tennis. i did play some nice ball games, but i often got beaten badly. however, it didn‘t reduce my interest in table tennis. i was crazy to stand in front of table and raised my paddle. as soon as i got off the school, i would rash to tennis table right away. there were few tables on the school, therefore i had to wait for a long time to play but my skill didn‘t improve much. nevertheless, i didn‘t care about it. i thought i had a good time in playing table tennis and i listed it as my best taste.

　　now, i am grow-up and have left school for a while. i don‘t have time and hardly find a friend to play table tennis. but doctor said i needed some eercise for my health. i figured out i still could play table tennis, only if i played the ball against the wall. many of my friends passed by my house. they llikely came in to see me, because they heard the noices of ball bouncing back and forth. it was my eercises in playing table tennis without table. they were curious about my crazy action. i didn‘t mind they made fun about me. i, on the other hand, liked to introduce to them that was my taste and fancy way of eercise.

　　My college life is very interesting though some students think it is dull.I have got a good habit every day.Getting up early in the morning, I go to the playground to do some sports. Running is my favourite. Then I get back to do some washing. I go to the dining hall to have my breakfast. I enjoy the dishes there.Then I go to my classroom for my lessons. I listen to the teachers very attentively and make notes of what the teachers say. I am active in class.When I have some trouble in my lessons, I will ask my teachers. The teachers are very kind to us students.Usually I have my lunch a little late because there are many students at the right time for lunch.I always have a big lunch. After lunch, I have a nap till two in the afternoon.I have three classes in the afternoon.I often go to the library after class to look for what I want---information,books,magazines and so on.After supper, I go to my classroom for evening self study.I go back to my bedroom at 10. 　　First of all, study is still the most important thing in college. I will choose my interest as my major in college, which would make me work harder on study. I like reading so much that the library may be my favourite place. Besides, I would study some elective subjects that I am interested in or are useful for my future. Moreover, I would take part in extracurricular activities. College is a perfect stage to develop practical abilities. There are many associations in college, which help you do something for your interests. Besides, joining the student union is also a good way to develop a student's comprehensive abilities. This is the general plan for my college life and I look forward my college life.

　　1. my job is a college teacher, although i had never t the idea that i would become a college teacher in the four years of my college life, but nowadays, i have decided on a college teacher as my life-long career.

　　2. i like my job for three reasons that it has led me to choose this occupation. first, teaching is learning. to make my lectures more constructive(积极,有建设性) and stimulating(激情), i have to read more books, eplore new knowledge and gain a better understanding of the world –the every thing that i enjoy in my life. second, teaching means freedom and independence. as a teacher, i’m free to use my own ideas and make my own decision, this privilege(特权) not everyone can have, even those with highly-paid positions. third, as a college teacher, i can acquire the more opportunity to continue learning. finally, i like teaching because it offers certain peace of mind. no more rushing to catch a morning bus, no more aniety to please a boss, no more worries about your paycheck which is steady(稳定), even though it is not handsome(可观).

　　3. there is something about my job which i don’t like very much. for eample, i must get to classroom on time, don’t late one minute when i have teaching task; i have not relations with the local government and society, there are not convenience of solving some difficulties in my life through privilege ; i must write some article about my profession i’m teaching because for my professional passing judgment;

　　4. although, being a college teacher, it has its advantages and its disadvantages. in my opinion, a college teacher is a better profession, i will decided on a college teacher as my life-long career.

　　the year of is getting closer and closer to us. we need to take actions from now on to prepare for the game. what we need to do most is to work on our disadvantages and shortcomings. as a student of senior high, i can do my own part. although i cant transform our city into more a beautiful place on my own, i can help beijing in small ways and encourage our classmates and people around me to follow my lead.

　　let me take the environment for eample, the atmosphere around beijing is quite disappointing, factories and cars keep giving off ehausts into the air, we can hardly see the blue sky with our naked eyes, because the sky is covered with a thick layer of harmful substances. the sky is gray instead of blue. to our delight, the government has passed some laws of protecting the air, and we can do something useful, too. for eample, whenever we go out for a long distance, ride the bike or take the buses and subways instead of tais. you may not have a clue how it works. of course doing that only by one person is far from enough, but we can let more people do that together. in that case the result may be more than we bargained for.

　　another thing we need to work on is our english skills. teachers and parents often put great emphasis on our english skills especially listening and speaking. i want to be a volunteer in , to be an interpreter. for now, i must do something helpful to improve my spoken english. rome isnt build in a day, so is english. it cant be improved in a day or two. it takes time and energy. there are no shortcuts to improve your spoken english; the most productive way is to grab all opportunities around you to open your mouth. for instance, taking part in all kinds of english contests is a good way, you can meet some ecellent contestants, and you can share the eperience of learning and some good method of learning. i will keep participating in all english activities to polish up my english. im sure by the year of , i will be able to master english well just as my mother tongue.
